‘The Future of Athletics is Bright!’ Olympian, Analyst Highlight the Potential of Jamaican Teams


The future of Jamaican athletics is bright!

That’s according to track and field analysts Hubert Lawrence, and Olympian Juliet Cuthbert-Flynn.

The pair say although Jamaica has lost the generational talent of Usain Bolt, there are more potential sources of medals emerging.

Olympian, Juliet Cuthbert-Flynn says the present and future of local female sprinting is bright.

Analyst Hubert Lawrence says there’s also strong female medal candidates in a number of field events.

Lawrence says as the men’s sprint team continues it’s rebuild, Jamaica is getting stronger across the track and in field events.

Cuthbert-Flynn says there’s reason to be excited about Jamaica’s athletics team for the 2019 IAAF world championships.
