The LAB, one of Jamaica’s leading advertising agencies has announced its intention to launch an Initial Public Offering, IPO, and list on the Junior Market of the Jamaica Stock Exchange.
The LAB would be the first Jamaican advertising company to list on the local stock exchange.
The listing will be arranged by NCB Capital Markets.
CEO and founder, Kimala Bennett, says the entity has been growing steadily with consistent financial performance.
Ms. Bennett says with several prospects at hand, they believe now is the ideal time to engage this opportunity.
She says listing would allow the company to invest in more equipment, hire more people, and upgrade skills to ensure consistent quality and efficiency as they scale up.
The LAB is a strategy to execution advertising agency and production house, with three business units: agency, film production, and media facilitation services.
Ms. Bennett says the company has been in business for 11 years and has been involved in guiding several of Jamaica’s leading brands for nearly half of that time.
They’ve produced well-known advertising campaigns for Grace Kennedy, NCB, Digicel, the HEART Trust NTA, JPS and others.
