Thomas, Vale Make History At FINA World Championships


Nathaniel Thomas and Nicholas Vale will be the first Jamaicans to compete on tomorrow’s day-2 of the FINA World Junior Swimming Championships, in Budapest.

Thomas and Vale will line up in the boy’s 200-metres individual medley.
Emily MacDonald and Sabrina Lyn will face the starter in the girl’s 100-metres Freestyle.

The men 100-metres Butterfly will feature Thomas and Vale.

Vale will join Kyle Sinclair in the Men 200m Freestyle.

Thomas says he’s encouraged by his day-1 performance.
