Three people are dead due to a motor vehicle crash this afternoon on the Duncan’s Bypass Main Road in Trelawny.
One of the vehicles involved in the two-car collision reportedly burst into flames.
Assistant Superintendent at the Trelawny Fire Department, Antonio Robinson, says his unit arrived on the scene shortly after 2 this afternoon.
The crash resulted in a major pile up of traffic along the thoroughfare.
Vice Chairman of the National Road Safety Council, Lucien Jones, says his unit must redouble its efforts in light of recent road fatalities.
