The Police say the death toll from last night’s motor vehicle accident in Manchester has risen to three.
It was initially reported that a father and son died in the accident on the Greenvale main road last night.
Their names have not yet been released.
Head of the Police Traffic Division, Senior Superintendent Calvin Allen, says a third person has succumbed to injuries.
The condition of the fourth occupant of the motor vehicle is not immediately clear.
SSP Allen says preliminary information reaching the Police is that speeding and a median in the road may have contributed to the crash.
The accident in Manchester brings the number of fatalities on the road so far this year to 238, including 14 in Manchester.
