Thwaites ‘Strongly Supports’ Gov’t Programmes Geared Towards Unattached Youth

Central Kingston Member of Parliament, the PNP’s Ronald Thwaites, says despite some concerns, he’s strongly in support of two of the Government’s programmes which are geared towards providing opportunities for unattached youths.

Mr. Thwaites says a focus must be placed on the re-socialization of idlers, some of whom live in areas where states of public emergency are currently in effect.

Mr. Thwaites says the House must urgent debate the root causes of crime and violence.

He says a number of related issues are worthy of rigorous discussion.
