Tourist Shot in MoBay


The Police are this afternoon intensifying investigations into the gun attack last night in Montego Bay St. James on a tourist from the United States

It’s understood that the 25 year old male tourist from Houston Texas was shot after he resisted an attempt to rob him.

The incident happened about 9:20 last night.

Reports are that the tourist was walking on the hip strip on Gloucester Avenue in the vicinity of Doctor’s Cave Beach.

He was pounced on by gunmen who attempted to relieve him of a bag.

The Texas resident who’s a Truck Driver resisted and was shot in the shoulder.
He remains in hospital this afternoon.

The gunmen escaped with the bag.
