Police say three people were killed in the parish of Clarendon between Friday and Sunday.
The first incident took place in the community of Effortville. The deceased has been identified as a 41-year-old barber, Jermaine Lewin. He was found with gunshot wounds after residents heard explosions about 1:00 pm and summoned the police.
Also on Friday, 33-year-old Kimu Cunningham of Palmers Cross in the Parish was killed by gunmen on Main Street, May Pen shortly after 10:00 PM.
Reports are that Cunningham was at his food cart when he was approached by the men who opened fire hitting him. He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead, while two others who were injured in the incident were admitted for treatment.
And, on Saturday, the body of 50-year-old Edwin Anderson of Lewis Street was found in a ditch along Foga Road about 6:30 am. His body was reportedly found in a ditch with his mouth and feet bound with duct tape. He also had several gunshot wounds to his body.
Police said the scene was processed and the body removed to the morgue.
