T&T PM Bats for Regional Airline


Trinidad and Tobago Prime Minister, Dr. Keith Rowley, says its time for a single regional airline for the Caribbean Community, CARICOM.

Dr. Rowley says this also needs to be extended to marine transport.

Dr. Rowley says the region needs to stop dragging it’s feet on essential integration programmes.

He was speaking after bilateral discussions with Prime Minister Andrew Holness this week.

    These are all hot air talks, who is going to fund this new airline and maritime transport?. Also will it lead to affordable and efficient travel with the CARICOM region?. I would love to see this happen, but it looks to me that this is just a dream. All CARICOM leaders and officials do is talk, nothing more.
