Two Arrested following Gun & Ammo Find in St Elizabeth


Two men were arrested after being found with an illegal firearm on Sunday in Junction, St. Elizabeth.

The men have been charged with illegal possession of firearm.

They’re 26-year-old labourer, Daldin Steer and 19-year-old farmer, Phillip Dixon, both of Tryall district, Junction.

According to the police Corporate Communications Unit, CCU, the Junction police were in the Tryall area when they saw two men in a shop who aroused their suspicion.

The police say the men where searched and one homemade firearm was found in their possession.

They were subsequently arrested and charged.
