Two Men Appear Before Traffic Court for 1,000 Outstanding Traffic Tickets


Two men who appeared before the Traffic Court yesterday for cumulatively having more than ten traffic warrants and over 1000 outstanding traffic tickets have been fined.

They are, Kenneth Gonzales and Kedron Marriott.

Gonzales who’s of Sandy Bay, Clarendon had five outstanding warrants. He accumulated 473 outstanding traffic tickets. Gonzales was fined $85-thousand or 14 days in prison. He was offered bail with surety in the sum of $150-thousand.

Kedron Marriott who is of Henderson Avenue, Kingston 11 had seven outstanding warrants. Marriott accumulated 683 outstanding traffic tickets. He was fined $84-thousand  or 14 days in prison when he appeared before the court.

Marriott was offered bail in the sum of $150-thousand dollars with surety. 

The Public Safety and Traffic Enforcement Branch, PSTEB remains relentless in its efforts to detect and prosecute individuals who breach the Road Traffic Act.

The Police are also reminding the public to obey all road codes to ensure the safety of all who use public thoroughfares.
