U15 Reggae Girls Lose to Costa Rica


Costa Rica beat Jamaica 2-1 in their CONCACAF Under-15 Girls Football Championships in the United States today.

Carmen Marin scored for Costa Rica in the 12th minute before half-time substitute Shania Harris equalized in the 51st minute for Jamaica.

Nine minutes later, Priscilla Chinchilla restored the Costa Rican’s advantage, and they held on for all three points.

In an earlier game Canada thrashed invited CONMEBOL team Venezuela 6-0.

Jamaica face Canada in their next match on Thursday.
