Minister with oversight in the Information Ministry, Karl Samuda, says he’s neither fearful nor apprehensive about the government’s image or investor confidence despite the US revoking the visa of a Cabinet Minister.
Mr Samuda says the decision of the US Government to revoke visas without advising Kingston is customary
He says confidence in the Jamaican government is not negatively impacted.
Mr Samuda says the government is doing an efficient job and the nation is poised for growth.
Meanwhile, Permanent Secretary in the Education Ministry, Dr. Grace McLean, says collaborative effort with the Ministry of Health is necessary to address dengue outbreaks in schools.
Both were speaking at a Post Cabinet Press Briefing at Jamaica House yesterday.
