Warmington Wants To See 10-years of Audited Statements of The Auditor General’s Office

Leader of Government Business in the Lower House, Everald Warmington yesterday lauded Finance Minister Dr. Nigel Clarke and his team for providing the Parliament with the long-awaited audited statements from the Auditor General’s Office.

Mr. Warmington says no government agency receiving funds from the public purse should be exempted from being audited.

He’s demanding that the audited statements for the last decade be made available to the Parliament.

Dr. Clarke says he’ll be seeking to amend the law governing the auditing procedure relating to the Auditor General’s Department.
