Water Rationing Begins in Corporate Area

The National Water Commission, NWC, says it has begun rationing water in sections of the corporate area due to drought conditions.

Corporate Communications Manager at the NWC , Charles Buchanan says although the inflow of water is dependent on rainfall, the company has been engaging other sources to manage the deficit.

He says the NWC has also had to cut water from eight in the evening to four in the morning.

Mr. Buchanan says water levels have decreased at the Mona Reservoir and the Hermitage Dam.
