West Indies reached 189 for 6 on the final day of the first test against England, at the Sir Viv Richards stadium in Antigua.
Resuming on 98 for 2 the Windies added 21 to their overnight score before Devon Smith went for 65, in the 53rd over.
Three overs later, Marlon Samuels went for 23, with the score on 127 for 4.
Shivnarine Chanderpaul and Jermaine Blackwood then put on 28 runs for the 5th wicket, before Chanderpaul 13, was trapped LBW by Joe Root.
