West Windies Women Beat Sri Lanka Women by 31 Runs

West Indies women beat Sri Lanka by 31 runs in the fourth one dayer to take the series 3-1, in Colombo.

Batting first the Windies were bowled out for 156 inside 48 overs, with Britney Cooper, 46 making most runs.

In reply, Sri Lanka were bowled out for 125 inside 46 overs.

Hayley Matthews finished with figures of 3 for 7 for the Windies.

Windies skipper, Merissa Aguilleira, praised Matthews for her maturity on tour.

Aguilleira says the bowlers showed courage after the failure of the leading run getters.
