Young Comrades Seeking to Revolutionize the PNP – Chang

Political Commentator, Kevin O’Brien Chang, says there’s a clear attempt by younger comrades to revolutionize the People’s National Party, PNP.

He was reacting to the 21 blunt recommendations to the party made by the Krystal Tomlinson-led PNP Youth Organisation.

It’s understood that Miss Tomlinson broke down in tears at the party’s National Executive Council meeting on Sunday, as she listed the recommendations.

Mr O’Brien Chang says several of the PNPYO’s suggestions should be standard procedure.

He says if they’re not, that shows that the party’s General Secretary is falling down on his duties.

Mr O’Brien Chang says the youth in the party are trying to overthrow the elders.

In the meantime, another Political Commentator, Nadeen Spence, says other members of the party also know that the Youth Organisation’s recommendations are necessary.

But she says many are refusing to speak out.

And International Relations student at the University of the West Indies, Mickel Hylton, is also commending the PNPYO for their blunt recommendations.

He’s also calling on the party president Dr Peter Phillips to resign the post.
