One hundred persons are now hospitalised with COVID-19.
That’s according to the Ministry of Health’s latest COVID summary released today.
Jamaica has also recorded an additional 122 COVID-19 cases in the latest round of test results bringing the country’s total to 4,164.
Of the 122 new cases, 66 are males and 56 females.
Forty-nine cases are from Kingston and St Andrew, 30 are from St Catherine, 27 are from Manchester, 9 in St Mary, 4 in Clarendon and 3 in St. Ann.
Their ages range from 11 months to 88 years old.
Over the last 24 hours 17 persons have recovered from the virus.
25 patients are considered moderately ill while 8 are in need of critical care.
