A 14-year-old boy has been charged with rape and sexual touching.

The teenager was charged by detectives assigned to the Kingston Eastern Police Division following an incident last Monday on Wellington Street in Kingston.

Reports are, about 4:30 in the afternoon, the accused went to the complainant where he’s alleged to have fondled her vagina and had sexual intercourse with her.

A parent of the complainant is alleged to have caught the accused in the act and handed him over to the Police.

The 14-year-old boy was charged over the weekend.

The date of his first appearance in Court has not yet been finalised.

Meanwhile, the Hanover Police have commenced a search to find a man who was also caught sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl in the parish last Monday.

The child had reportedly visited the home of a relative to access the internet for online classes.

However when the  12-year-old did not return home at the usual hour for lunch, her mother became worried and went in search of her.

The young girl’s mother reportedly caught a man naked sexually assaulting her child in an abandoned building.

The man who was said to have been  naked, reportedly ran leaving his clothes and Cell-phone behind.

The child’s mother reported the incident to the Police

She also brought in as evidence the suspect’s clothes and cellphone.
