One hundred and forty-eight new cases of Covid-19 were recorded on Thursday. The country now has a positivity rate of 16.3 per cent.

That’s according to the latest update from the health and wellness ministry.

The latest cases come from the testing of 893 samples. The overall case count stands at 146,843.

Also two additional Covid-19 related deaths which were previously under investigation have been recorded, pushing that total to now 3,201.

One hundred and one more people have recovered from the virus and there are 1,346 active cases across the island.

Ninety-seven people are hospitalised, 22 of whom are moderately ill, seven severely ill and four in critical condition.
