A 19 year old male has been hit with multiple charges following an incident in Kingston last year.
He has been identified as Shawn Samuels of Smith Lane.
Samuels has been charged with wounding with intent and illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition.
Reports are that on Thursday, October 6, last year, the complainant was at his gate when he was approached by Samuels who shot him multiple times in the shoulder and abdomen.
Samuels was arrested last week Monday during a targeted operation.
He was charged on the weekend.
His court date is being finalized.
