Twenty-one Covid-19 fatalities were recorded in the island. That’s according to the Health and Wellness Ministry’s latest update.
The number of Covid-19 deaths now stands at 1,964. The deaths were recorded between September 2 and October 4.
Meanwhile, 214 confirmed cases were recorded. The total number of positive cases in the island now stands at 85,475. 1,128 samples were tested.
This represents a positivity rate of 17.7 per cent.
The number of active cases stands at 29,132. There were 130 recoveries. They bring the number of recoveries to 53,790.
The number of hospitalisations are now at 4 hundred and 60 and 118 are moderately ill, 65 are severely ill and 38 are in critical condition.
