The country has recorded twenty-five more COVID-19 fatalities.
That’s according to the Health and Wellness Ministry’s latest update.
The number of COVID-19 deaths now stands at 2-thousand and 25.
Majority of the deceased are from St. Elizabeth with 11 recorded.
The deaths occurred between August 28 and October 8.
Meanwhile, two hundred and 58 confirmed cases were recorded.
The total number of positive cases in the island now stands at 86 thousand 3 hundred and 84.
One thousand 2 hundred and 3 samples were tested.
This represents a positivity rate of 20-point-5 percent.
The number of active cases stands at 29 thousand 3 hundred and 47.
There were 1 hundred and 29 recoveries.
This brings the total number of recoveries to 54 thousand 4 hundred and 24.
The number of hospitalizations now stands at 4 hundred and 19.
90 are moderately ill, 53 are severely ill and 30 are in critical condition.
