Nationwide News understands that 25 members of the officer corps of the Jamaica Constabulary Force, have been promoted to the rank of Senior Superintendent and Superintendent.
Head of the Constabulary’s Counter Terrorism and Organised Crime Investigation Branch, C-TOC, Anthony McLaughlin leads the list of five people from the rank of Superintendents who’re now Senior Superintendents.
Also promoted to Senior Superintendent are the Head of the St. James Police division Vernon Ellis, Head of the St. Ann Police Division Dwight Powell, and Head of the St. Andrew North Police Division, Aaron Fletcher.
In addition, Head of the Police Information Communication Technology Division, ICTD, Norris Rhoomes has been promoted to the rank of Senior Superintendent.
Meanwhile, 21 members of the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police have been promoted to the rank of Superintendent.
Among the notable names to be elevated to the ranks of Superintendent is Damion Manderson, who was recently reassigned to the St. Andrew South Police Division.
Superintendent Manderson was the former Commanding Officer at the Old Harbour Police Station in the St. Catherine South Division.
Other notable promotions to the rank of Superintendent include:
Nardia Simms, Head of the St. Elizabeth Police Division,
Kenneth Chin, Head of the Portland Police Division,
Lloyd Darby, Head of the Manchester Police Division,
Winchester Watson, of the Public Safety and Traffic Enforcement Branch, PSTEB,
And, Tanisha Ellison, who is assigned to the Police Commissioner’s Office.
