Agriculture Minister Karl Samuda says the Government will be spending close to $800-million to rehabilitate sugar cane roads across the country.

The Minister was speaking in Parliament yesterday when he closed the Sectoral Debates.

The project will be funded through the European Union’s Sugar Transformation Programme.

Some 80-kilometers of cane roads are to be improved.
