Almost 100 golfers have registered for the annual Sandals Golf and Jerk Festival at the Sandals Upton Estate Golf and Country Club, on Sunday.

The competition will take on a six-a-side edition with the golf course divided into three sections: a scramble, a better ball, and an alternate shot format.

Public Relations Manager at the Sandals Foundation, Patrice Gilpin, says the players are eager to take to the course.

Each six-hole section will also feature the integration of a jerk tasting station.

Gilpin says although it is not mandatory, golf teams are encouraged to include a junior player for a chance to compete for a special Father-child duo prize in honour of Father’s Day, which falls on Sunday, June 16.
