The Jamaica Public Service Company, JPS, says work to convert the Bogue power plant in St. James to use Liquefied Natural Gas, LNG, is set to be completed by April this year.
The Bogue power plant was previously powered by diesel oil.
Vice President of Generation at the JPS, Joseph Williams, today told a press conference that the conversion project will be completed on time and under budget.
