The MP for South West Clarendon, Noel Arscott, is now in the constituency following a series of violent crimes in the community of York Town.
Angry residents yesterday mounted road blocks, after two women were abducted in separate incidents in the community.
Residents also claim that there has been an increase in rapes and robberies.
They also chastised Mr. Arscott for being absent from the constituency during this challenging period.
Mr. Arscott says he’s now on the ground speaking with the residents.
Mr. Arscott says he cannot say when street lights will be installed.
Mr. Arscott says there could be a serial rapist in the York Town community.
