Australia today completed a 2-1 series win over host India in their three match limited overs international series following a 21 run win in game three in Chennai.

The Aussies posted 269 all out in 49 overs. Mitchell Marsh led the way with 47 and he was supported by Alex Carey 38 and Travis Head 33 against 3 for 44 from Hardick Pandya and two wickets each from Axar Patell and Mohammed Siraj.

In response India struggled before they were eventually dismissed for 248 in the final over despite a top score of 54 from Virat Kohli and 40 from Pandya.

Adam Zampa was impressive with the ball for Australia with 4 for 45 as Australia with the victory has now taken over as the world’s number one ODI team.
