Andre ‘Blackman’ Bryan, convicted leader of the Klansman Gang, has just told the Supreme Court that he wishes to represent himself at this stage of the court proceedings.
The sentencing hearing for Bryan and his co-accused started in the Supreme Court on Monday.
He made the declaration against the advice of his attorney and Chief Justice Bryan Sykes.
Justice Sykes gave Bryan time to review his social enquiry report and antecedents.
Bryan reviewed documents and is now addressing the court.
