People’s National Party, PNP, Presidential Candidate Dr. Karl Blythe is expressing concern that there could be violence during day one of the party’s Annual conference tomorrow.
The party will stage its internal elections at the National Arena tomorrow.
Dr. Blythe says based on the behaviour of some members of the party, including the sitting President, anything is possible.
He was speaking today at a media briefing in Kingston.
Meanwhile, embattled General Secretary of the Opposition People’s National Party, PNP, Paul Burke is appealing to comrades to unite.
Mr. Burke made the appeal in an eight minute long address last night which was broadcast on a few media outlets.
The address from the PNP General Secretary has come hours before the fractured party will hold its leadership elections which are scheduled for Saturday.
