In a statement this afternoon, the Jamaica Civil Service Association, JSCA, announced that following what it stated are plans to put on hold increases in bus fares, it’s withdrawing a call made on Wednesday for public servants to boycott the JUTC.

The JCSA says it’s also withdrawing its notice regarding the reconsidering of its participation in the social partnership pact.

The JCSA says it’s committed to nation building and participating in national dialogue.

The statement from the JSCA was released this afternoon prior to the Government affirming that the increases have NOT been put on hold.
