National Security Minister Peter Bunting is to address the House of Representatives this afternoon regarding what the police are reporting is a 19-percent increase in murders between January and June this year, when compared to the corresponding period last year.

The Opposition Spokesman on National Security, Derrick Smith, told journalists yesterday that the comparative rise in murders has gotten worse, given the bloodletting that has occurred since the start of July.
