PNP General Secretary, Paul Burke, has appeared before Contractor General Dirk Harrison’s anti corruption agency.

Nationwide News understands that Mr. Burke reported to the Office of the Contractor General, OCG, at 10:00 yesterday morning.

He was questioned by investigators from the OCG in relation to the PNP campaign funding scandal.

Transport Minister, Mike Henry and former portfolio Minister, Dr. Omar Davies, were also interviewed by the OCG.

The men were questioned by the OCG in relation to a statement issued by Dr. Davies to the media recently.

Dr. Davies disclosed that Mr. Burke had told a meeting of the PNP’s National Executive Council, NEC, that it’s an established practice for large Chinese firms to pay kickbacks to political parties in Jamaica.

Both Dr. Davies and Minister Henry have publicly denied knowledge of the alleged established practice.
