PNP General Secretary Paul Burke says he will not comment at this time, on whether he plans to offer his resignation at this weekend’s annual conference.
Mr. Burke had indicated in April that he would allow the party to decide his future at the conference.
This, after a no-confidence motion was moved against him by MP for South East St. Ann, Lisa Hanna, at a meeting of the party’s National Executive Council.
Ms. Hanna had blamed him for the party’s loss in the February 25 general election.
Speaking on Straight Forward with Damion Crawford in late June, Mr. Burke said he would be held accountable at the party’s annual conference.
However, when contacted by Nationwide News this morning, Mr. Burke said he would address the issue of his resignation at the next meeting of the PNP’s National Executive Council, NEC.
