The Jamaica Chamber of Commerce, Jamaica Manufacturing Association and the Private Sector Organization of Jamaica, say they are satisfied that the state owned oil refinery Petrojam is passing on declines in world oil prices to local consumers.

Chief Executive Officer of the PSOJ, Dennis Chung, says a review of prices over the last few weeks shows that they’ve been closely in line with prices on the world market.

Mr. Chung says consumers will be the big winners if and when Petrojam is divested.
