PNP general secretary, Dr. Dayton Campbell, says regional leaders must do more to restore integrity in public life.

He made the comment while addressing the 92nd annual conference of the St. Kitts and Nevis Labour Party earlier this week.

The PNP general secretary says democracy in the region is threatened by increasing apathy. He’s calling on regional leaders to do more to improve transparency and build consensus around key national objectives.

The party is the oldest active political party in the English speaking Caribbean. It was founded in January, 1932.
