Another high school student has been stabbed for his cell phone.

This time, it’s a 17-year-old Grade 12 student from Camperdown High School in Kingston.

He’s now reported to be in stable condition at hospital.

Principal of Camperdown, Valentine Bailey, says the incident happened yesterday evening.

Last week, 14-year-old Jamaica College student Nicholas Francis was fatally stabbed on a bus by a man who wanted to steal his cell phone.

Meanwhile, Education Minister, Senator Ruel Reid says he’s concerned about students walking alone.
