Public Commentator, James Moss Solomon, is raising questions about a potential link between drug trafficking and foreign exchange coming into Jamaica.
His comment follows the mysterious plane crash in Rocky Point, Clarendon at the weekend.
Mr Moss-Solomon says there’s been several reports of drug trafficking during the pandemic.
He says Jamaica isn’t experiencing the economic decline that was anticipated as a result of the pandemic.
He also suggested that the area in which the plane went down in Clarendon on Saturday could be targeted by drug smugglers because it’s not hilly terrain.
