Jamaicans can expect rain starting on Wednesday. That’s according to the Meteorological Service.
It says a cold front is expected to bring unstable weather conditions across Jamaica starting Wednesday.
It says the system is currently across the northwestern Caribbean and is producing an area of cloudiness, showers and isolated thunderstorms.
The Met Service says scattered evening showers across most parishes are expected along with thunderstorms mainly across northern parishes.
For Thursday, southern and northeastern parishes are expected to have afternoon showers.
The Met Service is also advising fishers to exercise caution as sea conditions will deteriorate due to thunderstorms and strong gusty winds.
The country has been facing worsening drought conditions since January, forcing water lock offs across the island.
