Jamaica’s senior women’s football team will resume the hunt for the 2024 Olympic Games glory, when they play away to reigning champions Canada in the return leg of the CONCACAF Olympic qualifier.
The game is set for the BMO Field in Toronto on Tuesday.
Canada won the first leg 2-nil inside the national stadium last Friday.
They are leading the series and going into the last match with the advantage to get the ticket they need to defend their Olympic title.
Coach of the Reggae Girlz, Lorne Donaldson, says they made the tactical adjustments needed to produce a better showing.
Canada Forward, Nichelle Prince, says they are excited for the opportunity to seal their Olympic berth in front of their home crowd.
The winner on aggregate over the two games goes to the Olympic Games next year in Paris, France, but if it is tied the team with more away goals advances.
