Jamaica’s COVID-19 positivity rate stands at 26.7%.
That’ according to the Ministry of Health and Wellness’ latest update.
The positivity rate follows the testing of 646 samples, of which 136 were confirmed cases of COVID.
Kingston and St. Andrew recorded the most cases with 46, followed by St. Catherine with 36 confirmed cases.
Three new deaths have been reported in the update.
There were 73 recoveries.
118 persons are hospitalised with COVID-19, 17 of the patients are moderately ill, 3 are severely ill, while 2 are considered critical.
More than 90-percent of those hospitalised with COVID-19 are unvaccinated.
