Jamaica’s COVID-19 positivity rate stands at 22.8%.
That’s according to the Ministry of Health’s latest update.
The positivity rate follows the testing of 377 samples.
There were 86 positive cases.
The majority of the cases were recorded in Kingston and St. Andrew, St. James followed with 14 cases.
5 new deaths were recorded in the update, while there were 102 recoveries.
117 persons are hospitalised with COVID-19, 20 of them are moderately ill, 5 are severely ill, while 5 more are critical.
More than 90-percent of those hospitalised with COVID-19 are unvaccinated.
