West Indies batting superstar and former captain Brian Lara says the long running debate over which of his many mind boggling batting performances was his best, may continue for a long time to come.

Lara says the 400 not out, which is the highest individual test batting performance in history, and his unbeaten 501 the highest first class score ever in cricket are, without question, two of the highlights of his career.

Lara also cited the 277 run out in Sydney, his first test hundred and the 100 before lunch in Antigua as among his best performances.

But there are two innings he says he holds dearly to his heart and one of them certainly is that match winning 153 not out against Australia in Barbados.

Is that his all time favourite, or is there one more that tops them all?
