The JLP aspirant for the North West St. Andrew by-election, Dr. Nigel Clarke, says crime remains the biggest threat to the Holness Administration.

Dr. Nigel Clarke speaking with Nationwide News in his first media interview since he was confirmed as the JLP aspirant for the March 5 by-election.

Dr. Clarke is expected to face off against the PNP’s, Keisha Hayle, to replace retired MP, Derrick Smith. He says the country’s crime problem consumes so much of the administration’s agenda.

And Dr. Clarke says he’ll not comment on the problems caused by the non-selection of Mr. Smith’s son, Duane, to represent the JLP in the by-election.
