Regional Exit examinations are to commence June 14 this year.
Caribbean Examination Council Registrar, Dr Wayne Wesley, made the disclosure in a Caribbean Community Special Meeting of the Ministers of Education media Conference, yesterday.
He says all topics will be covered in paper one of each subject.
Dr Wesley says CXC will provide additional details on some areas not sufficiently covered by the syllabus.
He says for School Based Assessments, SBAs, CXC has reduced the requirements to as much as fifty percent in some cases.
Dr. Wesley noted that students will get the opportunity to defer and sit the exams next year if they so desire.

And submitted SBAs can also be deferred to be used in next year’s exam.
