The Jamaica Teacher’s Association, JTA, is expressing disappointment and disgust following the second round of negotiations with the Ministry of Finance for the 2017-2019 contract period.

The JTA says the Ministry hasn’t improved its wage offer of six percent over two years.

The Association has already rejected the offer.

JTA President, Georgia Waugh Richards, told the government’s negotiating team that her members will not be pleased with what’s on the table.
