Some PNP supporters and delegates in East Portland are demanding that the PNP leadership not snub Andrea Moore again as it moves to select a candidate for the upcoming by-election in the constituency.

Word emerged yesterday that the PNP leadership is seeking to persuade its Vice President, Damion Crawford, to contest the seat. But a PNP activist in the constituency who gave her name as Miss Panton is urging the PNP to select Andrea Moore.

Miss Moore is a well known Attorney-at-law in Portland.

Prior to the 2016 General Election, a majority of PNP delegates in East Portland voted in favor of her to represent the constituency. But the PNP leadership overruled its delegates and selected Dr. Lynvale Bloomfield.

The PNP activist is this afternoon urging PNP President Dr. Peter Phillips to select Miss Moore and not impose another candidate on the constituency.
