Education Minister, Dr Dana Morris Dixon says drought protocols have been activated in schools amid the continued dry conditions.
She made the disclosure during an interview at the official opening of Hydel Cumberland High School in St Catherine on Monday.
According to Minister Morris Dixon, arrangements have been made with private truckers to supply water to schools not connected to the National Water Commission network.
Meanwhile, Minister Morris Dixon says increased focus on water storage for schools is required.
